Well, it's been a week today...
I actually got dressed today...Made the bed...The "official" wallowing has ended...
What I have learned in a week is this...
I am blessed...
I have so many great friends...
I don't suck...
My children are the most important people in my life...
My husband Grant Aslett love's me regardless...
My friends in the Scrapbooking industry have been beyond supportive...
I'm not a Diva...
Making dinner every night is really not that much work...
Jaden loves spending time with his MiMi...
It is better to laugh than to cry...
It's ok to be sad...
There are a lot of people who like me for me...
I still love scrapbooking...
The women I know in this industry want everyone to be successful...
Facebook is a great way to stay connected...
I am going to be OK...
I am grateful to all of you...Grateful for all your kind words...
I am looking forward to the future, and letting the past go...
One week later i am stronger...more humble...grateful...
Stay tuned...More to come...
Kiss kiss

I LOVE your post! What I have gotten from your blog is: you are a wonderful, kind, mother, wife (to Grant Aslett...love that you call him that) and friend who is extremely passionate and creative. Anyone who has come in contact with you is VERY lucky. I was lucky enough to take your CKU San Jose 2006 album class. I just adore you!
You will stay successful to whatever you desire!! Rock on Margie!!

Sometimes "just" getting dressed is a HUGE accomplishment. And that's one long gratitude list you've got there. You'll get through this, and in a year wonder at how far you've come. It's getting that 365 day perspective that's the challenge.
kiss kiss back atcha!

When you are God's child and try to walk with Him, He will place you where He needs you to be. We may not like it or understand right now but if we wait...listen...and open our heart...He will use you again and you will see your new place in His will. I enjoy following the little slices of what's going on in your scrapbooking life so be encouraged and keep the creative juices flowing! Janet

Hi Margie - I have been following your blog for a long time and love it! But I am so confused by the last two entries...I don't understand what happened. I know you are one of the best in the scrapbooking industry so I'm wondering if it had to do with jealousy? I know some women in the industry can be cut throat....just wondering? Good luck - I know another door will open for you..you have so much talent. Hang in there and better things will come. xox Cathy

Been right where you're at right now, Marg! You can and WILl make it...change is sometimes the BEST thing that ever happens to us. I'm a better person today because of the last 2 years of change in my life. Didn't want the change at the time, but now I don't know that I'd trade any moment of it...(okay...so maybe a FEW of those really bad wallowing, crying, self-pitying moments!)

Your passion for life will pull you through. Just think of the (comic) material you will be able to pull from this experience. While it doesn't seem "funny" right now, I can just hear you in one of your future classes making light of this unexpected change in your life. You are such a beautiful person and give so much love to this craft, thank you for blessing all of us.

Being unexpectedly unemployed is hard. You are a strong and blessed woman. You are allowed to be sad. For a bit. Glad to see that you are on the upswing.

this is so true!!!!
i read this this morning-
Elder Wirthlin-
"The simple secret is this: Put your trust in the Lord, do your best, then leave the rest to him."
You are indeed doing what is best- if things are going well in one aspect of our life...LOOK for the GOOD things in other areas.
Your GREAT and LOVED no matter what the next chapter unfolds...
