i knew i needed to post the winner for Monday's blog post and i was texting with a friend so i asked her to pick a number between 1 and 52. She picked 6 because her daughter is turning 6 this week!

i love Danielle and am so excited to be taking her workshop!
i read each one of your comments and it sounds like we all could use some creative growing!
one of you wrote about growing new creative wings.
this has been a crazy week.
i am preparing and creating for my BF Lorie's daughter's wedding next week.
i have been stringing coffee filters and book paper for days!
i love the process of creating.
i love making.
it does my heart good.
this week has also been rough.
my niece and her husband got some really sad news.
a little over a month ago Jake called Jord from work and said he wasn't feeling well and to come get him.
jord picked him up and took him to an urgent care. At the urgent care they sent him to the hospital.
and from there onto a specialist.
They discovered a tumor in his brain.
after several tests this week we learned it is stage 4 glioblastoma.
Our hearts are extremely heavy at the news of this.
They got their son just a few months ago.
i am asking you to join me in prayers for this family.
what i do believe in is prayer and with the faith of all of us mothers miracles will happen.
you can read more about Jord and Jake and the journey ahead of them on Jord's blog.
jord and i have always been very close.
she is the first grandchild, so when she was born i was in Highschool.
i was there the day after she was born.
watched her grow.
graduate from Highschool, go on an LDS mission and was there the day she was married to Jake.
she even lived with us in Arizona for a Summer with her sister Claire.
our family is devastated.
but we have hope and faith.
miracles can happen.
this life is hard.
but it is good.
it reminds me to be always grateful for all that i have and have been blessed with.
