an artsy weekend...

hello beautiful Monday.

i can just feel Spring is on it's way.

makes this girl happy happy.

over the weekend i was lucky enough to attend an Artsy Weekend with several of my dearest friends.

Marci Welcker put this very small and intimate group of creatives.

it was lovely.

the venue was styled by the amazing 3 Dotters and Jen does nothing that isn't beautiful and inspiring.

LOVE her.

The classes were delightful.

we created art boxes, with Dana Engemann and amazing artist and local Utah girl!

after a delicious lunch delivered by the famous waffle truck,

Marci loaded us up with an Art Journaling class.
it was such a fun, relaxed day, laughing, talking, sharing and creating.

Saturday we were lucky enough to have a class with my True Chrissy Gardner!

we created cuffs and learned some fun new tooling and painting techniques.

Chrissy does everything she creates and shares with love.

our afternoon was packed with classes.

Tonya LeMone from Perenial Gardens hosted a beautiful luncheon
and tought a class on homemade bread and cheese.

She is a delight and oh so talented!

after Tonya's class we had another fun class with Dana creating a Wish Fairy in a Cage.

i love my little wish fairy.

i was lucky enough to win one of Dana's darling pretty dolls.

i just love her.

and she has a special meaning for me thanks to Rhonna & Chrissy sharing beautiful stories with me.

our final class of the day was with my True Rhonna.

she did an amazing Chalk Art class.

she's a spit fire of creativity and shares everything she has.

the day was just perfect.

so inspired.

so filled with ideas and new ways to create and beautiful new friendships.

after the event some of us gathered at my True Jamie's home.

{we just didn't want to leave each other}

we laughed, ate popcorn and talked till dawn.

i love these amazing women in my life.

i love that they share their talents with me.

inspire me to be more creative.

to be a better wife, mother and friend.

to be kinder to myself.

i love what i do.

i love making things with my hands.

putting my heart into what i create.

this weekend was just what i needed.

fed my creative soul.

i know the love, and time you put into it.
