dang it's cold here in Idaho!

my Mr. had a few meeting yesterday so i came with.

i love a few days away together.

we drove up Wednesday night, stopped in Brigham City and had dinner at Maddox a Utah favorite.

then we headed up to idaho stopping in Lava Hot Springs to soak in the natural hot pools.

my Mr. loves soaking his old bones.

yesterday he spent the day in meetings and i spent the day with my true.

we had plans to hang out in her studio.

i was going to scrap and she was going to create art.

we ended up spending the day just talking.

talking.

and,

talking.

we needed to re-connect.

it was the best day ever.

just us.

it's so good to have a friend like her.

i am so grateful for the friendship we have.

heading home today.

a few days away is always good, but going home is the best.
