Fall is defiantly here in Utah.
the mountains are on fire.
the leaves are changing from green to red, yellow and orange.
it's a beautiful site.
i love Fall.
the weather is beautiful.
blue skies and sunshine.
we had a beautiful Indian Summer.
now we are enjoying cooler temps.
the Fall harvest has been amazing.
i love hitting up the Farmer's Market each week and load up!
September was gone in a flash.
i guess the older i get time just seems to rip by.
i'm 47 now.
haha.
Sepetember was filled to the brim.
we started the month off at one of our favorite places and events.
we ate fair food.
we ate way too much fair food.
we had a great time.
all of us together.
then we moved Max and his girl Sophie.
they moved to Santa Fe New Mexico.
on a new adventure.
it's bitter sweet.
i love seeing my boy grow up to be a man but it's the farthest any of my kids have lived away from me.
the very next day we moved Meg and Jeremy to their new home.
they are so excited.
the house is amazing.
i also celebrated my 47th birthday.
my Mr. made it a really special day.
i had lunch with Gladdy.
then dinner with the family that was here.
it was a great day.
then i was off the Minnesota!
Mona and i hit the Junk Bonanza for a day!
it was beyond amazing.
oh how i wish i had a million dollars and a trailer!
ha!
the next few days were spent at Scrapfest 2012!
hundreds of scrappers, make and takes and i taught 3 classes and hosted a crop!
i love this event.
it's such a fun time to see friends in the industry!
and always fun to catch up with this crazy broad who lives in MN.
the MOA is insane.
but a great time!
i spent plenty of time up in Idaho with my Mr.
he's working up there so to be together i go!
being together is where i want to be.
so we've spent a few hours going back and forth.
i love the time we have together.
just us.
it has been fun re-connecting to my dear old friends from when we lived there.

this month also marks my Mother's 84th birthday.
my sister Annie hosted a beautiful party for the two of us at her home with a BBQ by the river.
it was great for us to celebrate Mom.
at 84 she's a firecracker.
we all love her!
i made my first batch of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins.
the first batch always tastes so good!
i only make them in the Fall and didn't want September to get by without a batch!
here is that recipe:
Margie's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 Cups oil
2 Cups brown sugar
4 Cups sugar
mix
8 beaten eggs
1 1/2 TB baking soda dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water
4 cups canned pumpkin
mix in
7 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
2 tsps salt
1 1/2 tsp ginger
2 tsps cloves
2 tsps nutmeg
4 tsps cinnamon
mix
add 1 cup warm water
stir in 3 cups chocolate chips
back 20 mins @ 350
the recipe makes a BUTT load, so if you want half it!

to top off the month we went on a little weekend camp-out.
up Logan canyon just an hour away.
what a beautiful site.
the leaves were beyond amazing.
we spent just one night.
{i'm not really a good camper}
but it was fun to be together.
the weather was perfect.
just cool enough but not cold.
we ate tin-foil dinners, roasted marshmellows for s'mores and drank hot coca by the fire.
Grant made us a big pancake breakfast in the morning and hiked around the lake.
it was beautiful.
the month came.
and it went.
i love September.
i love Fall.
such a beautiful time of year to spend with family, friends, doing what i love.
together.
it's the best place to be.
