last night i spent several hours working on garlands for my on-line class

i love making them...

i could punch for hours and sit at my sewing machine for days.

the outcome just brings me so much happiness.

i love using what i have at home to create something beautiful.

garlands are such a fun way to decorate with and easy to create.

One of my favorite things about doing Spark for the last 3 years has been all of the handmade decorations. Using as little money and as much creativity as we could to create beautiful decor. let the season begin...

this week for me is a sign of the holidays in full force.

we had our first big snow storm Friday night.

i love it.

i hate it.

wink.

love the look of fresh snow.

hate driving in it.

i love snow for the holidays though.

this week with Thanksgiving Thursday i am excited to have all the kids home with me.

it's the "outlaw" year.

it will just be me and my kids.

love this idea.

i will cook a full meal.

i love all of the preparations for the holidays.

i have so so many ideas of things i want to create.

decorations & gifts.

so.

in my spare time.

my mind has been swirling.

what's new?

but this time i have organized my ideas.

after Spark no. 3 i took a creative mind break.

{lasted about 2 days}

hello Friday.

i woke up to darkness this morning.

early.

i didn't want to get out of my warm bed.

in fact i am still in it.

snuggled in a mound of blankets.

i love working from home.

i can actually lay in bed in my jammies and work...

brilliant.

today is the wedding of one of my very best friend's daughter.

it's a grey wet day.

good thing grey is her color!

gotta think positive.

regardless of what it looks like outside.

i know it will be a beautiful day.

i love weddings.

i cry every time i see a beautiful bride.

i'm very sentimental like that.

especially when it comes to weddings.

i believe in love.

today will be filled with it.

Anj and i will be there for Kim.

the Mother of the Bride.

the three of us have been friends for 34 years.

these two girls are my oldest and dearest.

we've been together through thick and thin.

i love our friendship.

weddings are a celebration.

i am looking forward to it.

watching Kim, watching Anna.

life is about milestones.

making memories.

documenting them.

i love that i have done this in my life.

even though it's a grey day it will be beautiful.

it's so much fun to share the things i love with YOU!

i am getting a little late start today

i woke up early with a splitting headache.

oy.

took something and went back to sleep.

i guess sometimes our bodies  know what we need.

and if we don't listen that force us to.

when i woke up i new i wanted to hit the trail.

clear my mind.

wake my body.

i don't feel 100% but i did it anyway.

i am doing the 21 day challenge with Rhonna.

it's something Rhonna has been inspiring so many people with for years now.

i have decided to focus on my physical body.

i did pretty good all summer and into the Fall then Spark hit.

i fell off the wagon.

big time.

but i am committed to doing better.

being better.

so i am working on the physical side to me.

exercising.

eating better.

taking care of my skin.

{using a new skin care system}

taking vitamins.

sleeping more.

so today even though i felt like crap.

i went out.

walked for a strong hour.

i do feel better.

i am not perfect by any means.

but i am taking 21 days to improve.

the great thing about the 21 day challenge.

you can start anytime.

today i had something exciting to share with you too.
