twenty five years ago all i ever wanted in life came true for me.
i became a mother.
on 11.eleven.86 Megan Kate Aslett came into the world and changed my life forever.
meg was the most beautiful baby.
her skin was pink.
her hair was black.
her eyes were huge and dark brown.
from the first minute i laid my eyes on her i was in love.
she has always been a beauty.
she has always had a quiet about her.
she is my first.
today that sweet beautiful girl is 25.
where did the time go?
how did this happen?
where did my baby go?
she became a beautiful, brilliant, funny women.
meg is my best friend.
meg has the driest, quiet humor.
meg has more style in her than anyone i know.
meg keeps me in order.
she takes care of me.
i feel so blessed.
lucky.
grateful.
in awe that i would be in-trusted to be her mother.
she is a gift.
i don't have words for how i feel about her.
today i am grateful that 25 years ago today she changed my life forever.
for the best.

that's so sweet Margie, happy birthday Meg! I also have a daughter, and I can't even imagine what my life would be like without her, she is my world, I told her she can never leave me because I would just crumble...I have time, she's only 12 :)
