this week was filled with creativity.
i was asked to describe myself and the one word that comes to mind is creative.
i am not an artist.
but.
i am creative.
i love making stuff.
i love sharing what i make with others.
i love making a beautiful home.
i love being inspired by so many other creative people in my life.
this morning i woke up early.
after not sleeping long.
my mind was racing last night.
ideas.
some nights are just like that.
i try to distract myself with music.
but last night the ideas were too loud.
they are now in a notebook ready to be worked on.
created.
this was a week filled with creativity.
working on Spark No. 3.
creating the decor.
it is so important to me that everything we do is handmade.
every little detail hand cut, hand sewn, hand embellished.
done with love.
on Wednesday we had a Spark Creative Day.
April and I planned to create all day.
we were joined by two amazing Spark sisters.
Chrissy Gardner my new dear LOVE friend who i met at Brave Girls camp and instantly was drawn to her.
she is not only adorable, sweet, funny, kind, sassy, she is creative.
you see it the moment you meet her.
she has a unique style that is so "chrissy"
LOVE her.
My other dear Spark sister Lesli Spafford came too.
we have been friends for like.
EVER.
we worked together at Scrapbooks Etc. in Mesa 100 years ago.
we are soul sisters.
no-one has a bigger, better, kinder, more generous heart as Les.
the day was filled with creating, laughing, stories, treats, and sister-hood in creativity.
loved it. loved what we created.
loved sharing the day with these amazing women.
Wednesday night my son Griffin debueted his film he worked on all Summer.
so proud of my boy.
he has been taking film classes and is loving it.
watching him interact at this event with his friends and other students made me one proud mama.
i love that all of my children have a passion for creativity.
each one in their own design.
i love this creative life i am living.
feeling so grateful to the women who have come into my life because of it.
so many amazing creative people who have touched my life.
inspired me.
this has been a great week.
more to come.
i am sure.

SPARK looks like it would be so much fun!!! Wish I could go...but I don't dare take money from the budget when we are building a home. Boo

I might be a tad jealous that you got to spend a day with Chrissy though... just a tad! :)
