first of all i can't begin to say how grateful i feel.
the support that has been given to me has be overwhelming.
i spent so much of the weekend just replying to comments, email and messages of well wishes and love.
wow.
a dear friend sent me an e-mail today and she reminded me of what really is important in life.
family.
and
friends.
i am blessed.
i have amazing children.
i have an amazing supportive family.
i have the best friends in the world.
no.
universe.
some that are so close to me and have been there for me on a daily basis.
in the last few months sometimes it has been an hourly thing.
although the events of last week were incredibly painful i am at peace.
i can breathe.
not walking on a eggshells.
when i left The Girls' Paperie i took a huge risk.
gave up something i loved.
thought i was trading something great for something greater.
6 months later i am starting over.
today i am getting on a plane.
heading to CHA.
i am anxious.
who knows what the future has in store.
what i do know is i am not ever going give up doing what i love.
so off i go.
chin up.
be brave.
take another risk.
that's what this thing called life is all about.
thank you all for being here for me.
kiss kiss
m.

knock 'em dead, margie. and do it with a big smile on your face and your head held high. xoxo

You'll feel so much love this week that it will all be good in the end. [and - lol - one of the first 'she art' girls I sold {I call mine soul sisters} was 'She stopped walking on eggshells' - lol - there's A LOT of freedom in that.] You go, girl!!

Very rarely is life's journey a straight line. There are sharp turns everywher but the difference is how you handle these turns. The most successful people rebound quickly leaving regret to the past. Past regrets are like smoke you can't hold on to them, just walk through it and don't ever give up your passion. And remember we are not that important as individuals, no one is keeping a score card on your stats. Tomorrow there will be someone new to focus the spotlight on. Hugs, Lisa

From all the comments I have read, I am thinking that everything I loved came from your creative mind...I never really knew much of the Girl's Paperie, I have just now stepped out of my "cutesy" stuff in to the wonderful world of vintage beauty...just know that you have a new fan in me, and I will be on the lookout for the next amazing venture you take. Those who have let you go will come to regret it, I have no doubt, and this will only make you stronger! Glad to see that you aren't going to give up!!

Life is a Journey...
Not a guided tour.
I love that quote, and I think you are one amazing woman with lots of talent!

You are a talented designer and I think if you can find a partner to help you restart The Girls Paperie, you'd have a ton of customers!
I pray CHA is a great thing for you!

Please remember you are always and inspiration and in some way this was meant to be. CHA has always been like a second home to you full of friends and support despite the competition. :) This may be the best place for you to be. My support is always with you and hope to see you again soon.
Maybe with Ted and I again on another cruise.

Margie, I only know you from your beautiful words and pictures on this blog and your art via your stunning papers - especially the GP lines which I bought duplicates of when I heard the line was ending. I just want to say that life does throw us big curves (like my husbands brain cancer!) but there is always a window that opens and lets a fresh breeze come through to lead us in a new direction. I know that I would be a customer of your products and your art NO MATTER WHERE YOU LAND! You have a beautiful gift and eye that so many of us love! Shine on sweet lady! :)

When you want to do something right, do it yourself!
Get back on the bike and start pedaling.
Remember the past, transform the future. I look forward to more greatness from you, Miss Margie! You are creative and vivacious, and people are incredibly attracted to all that you are. I saw this firsthand at Ranger U. At CHA I never saw you without an entourage. Chin up, Chica!

Margie ... no doubt: you rock, girl :)

I love you and I love that you went to CHA in spite of everything. Walking on eggshells sucks - been living that way far far too long myself, and it's slowly coming to an end. I have so much admiration for you, and I am still working my butt off to come up with $ to come to Spark so I can meet you and Christy!! Love you girl!
