Prom...

    Saturday was Prom...Both boys went...I have to say, it was pretty emotional for me to see my boys all dressed up and grown up! Man I must be getting old! It was a really fun day/night for them...Their dates were darling girls and looked so beautiful!
    Here are a few shots to enjoy...Notice  the beautiful weather? Well today I am looking out at 8 inches of fresh snow that came down on Sunday...Weird Utah weather!

I am humbled...

Well, it's been a week today...
I actually got dressed today...Made the bed...The "official" wallowing has ended...
What I have learned in a week is this...
I am blessed...
I have so many great friends...
I don't suck...
My children are the most important people in my life...
My husband Grant Aslett love's me regardless...
My friends in the Scrapbooking industry have been beyond supportive...
I'm not a Diva...
Making dinner every night is really not that much work...
Jaden loves spending time with his MiMi...
It is better to laugh than to cry...
It's ok to be sad...
There are a lot of people who like me for me...
I still love scrapbooking...
The women I know in this industry want everyone to be successful...
Facebook is a great way to stay connected...
I am going to be OK...
I am grateful to all of you...Grateful for all your kind words...
I am looking forward to the future, and letting the past go...
One week later i am stronger...more humble...grateful...

Wednesday was a life changing day for me...Not only personally but professionally...For the last 5 years I have had the great opportunity and blessing to work at Making Memories...Besides my family it has been my focus, my passion and the joy in my life...I am sad to say that that door has closed for me...
    I have had so many amazing experience's while at MM...I have made so many great friends in the Scrap booking industry, I have gotten to teach amazing women all over the world, and have loved every minute of it...I love scrap booking...It has become who I am...What I do...I will continue to do it! I am in the midst of looking at all my options, and opportunities...Right now I plan to do some teaching...It is what has given me so much joy and I have made so so many great friends doing it...
    I appreciate all the support you my family and friends have given me...I have had so many e-mails, calls and Facebook messages of love and support...So appreciated!
I want to especially thank the Design team at MM for the last 5 years...Especially Jayme who I shared an office with, also shared my joys and sorrows with...Thank you for always being there for me...You are my sister, and I love you...
    This door shutting was unexpected, but I already see widows opening...Change ironically is my word for this  year...So here is to Change...
Thanks for the ride...It was great...Sad to see it end...Excited and look forward to the future...Stay tuned...This girl is a little down...But never out!
