WOW...what a generous gift to bestow onto someone!!! I have never traveled by plane to a scrappy event...sure in a car with friends to a LSS but never flown across country to an event. How does one travel with all their liquids, scissors, and your clothing bags vs. your scrappy bag? Please let me find out??

Happy Birthday Max!

    Today is my oldest son Max's birthday! He is 17! Oh my heck where does the time go!? He was just a little lion king loving little boy! Max has a great heart...He is kind to others and thoughtful to me always. He roots for the underdog and is a friend to the friendless...Max is an amazing athlete...He loves to play football, baseball and is a great snowboarder...When Max sets his mind to something he works hard and accomplishes it! Max is a great big brother to Griff...They were great pals when they were little boys and now are great friends as young men. Max is a HUGE asset to our family! I am so grateful he is my son and I love him more than can possibly be said...I hope he has a GREAT year! 17! Wow!

can you say...SNOW...

    I woke up this morning to snow...Major snow...I have to say, i do love the snow...If it's going to be cold it might as well be snowy is my philosophy...The snow is beautiful...I love watching it fall...today it is falling thick big fluffy flakes...It's so quiet and peaceful...I also am loving it because it's a Tuesday...I work from home on Tuesdays, so i have no plans to be driving in it for a while...I can just sit here in the silence of my studio and watch it fall...ahhhhh peaceful...
    Another thing about this snow storm we are getting that is making me happy...When I jump onto a plane Friday headed to Arizona it will make the Arizona sunshine feel all that much warmer! I will be teaching 2 classes at Scrapbooks Etc. (my home store) on Saturday! If you're in the area call and see if there are any spots! Or drop by just to shop, see the Slice and say HI! I can't tell you how I am looking forward to being "home"! I get to spend time with all my Arizona friends, shop at my favorite scrapbook store, bask in the Sun, do some creative shopping and...teach! What could be better?

Good stuff...

    I have been home from Amsterdam for days...believe it or not...it had to have been the world's fastest trip to Europe in the universe...i left on Friday and was home by Tuesday night...i had a great time... i always have a good time with Gail... And the added bonus was Tim,Mario & Noralee were there to my delight!
    Yesterday I was able to spend some time with two of my very best friends from Highschool...Anj & Kim!
We have not spent time together for at least 15 years...the great thing about "some" old friends you just pick right back up where you left...I was beyond great to see them...We talked and talked and when we parted all i wanted was to talk some more...Listen to each others life stories...Remember all the great memories we had together...It was fabulous...I am so so glad that we re-connected...re-committed to each other not to let 15 years go by again...Anj lives in Salt Lake, Kim lives in Italy...I am so grateful for good friends...Great job...Great family...
    Hoping you all have had a day filled with Love...

Arrived safe and sound...

   

After one LONG day Gail and I are here...We arrived in Amsterdam after a flight from Salt Lake City to New York, New York to Amsterdam, 4 trains and a taxi we are here! Tomorrow and the next day Gail and I will be demo-ing and teaching classes using the SLICE...Then we will spend a day in Amsterdam seeing all that we can see in a day...Quick trip...But i know it's going to be an adventure! It has been so far! Tim & Mario arrived this evening as well as Noralee from Provo Craft...I have been up for over 24 hours as of now...Didn't really sleep on the plane this time??? :( Whatever...I will try to get some photos tomorrow...I only got one today, and it's not great...did it with hands full holding my iphone...was too busy shlepping all my luggage to take photos! lol I love the tulips...they make me so happy!

Tonight is the night to plan on some great fun at CKU Nashville!

    So all you scrappers who want to attend CKU Nashville this year tonight is the night! I have to say...Nashville has been one of my favorite places to do CKU!! The Gaylord is an event in it's self! Last week Tim and I were talking about the FUN we are going to have! Don't YOU want to come!? My album is darling...I LOVE it! It is an 8x8 album and I used the Michael's exclusive line that was released in January 09...It is titled Be Grateful...We are all so blessed and this is an album celebrating the people and things in our lives that make us who we are! I am so excited about the album!
