Hawaiian Christmas in Kauai
As I look back, I am so grateful for my family, my children are my Joy in life, we have been blessed...I love my job! I love the great people I get to work with. I have loved the travel that I have gotten to do this year! I have made some great new friends along the way. Looking back is a reminder of what I have to be grateful for, what I can be better at and what I want in the future...
I found the girls these darling bracelets for Christmas here on the island, they are simple silver bangles, Megan's says LUCK and Brooke's says LOVE...Such simple reminders, I love jewelry like that, I have several pieces that are reminders, LOVE LIFE, LAUGH and I have one the is just LOVE...I loved these bracelets so much I went back and bought 2 more for dear friends, BELIEVE, and CREATE...Then was drawn to a cuff for me that says:
LOVE WHAT YOU DO and on the inside it says, DO WHAT YOU LOVE...
I read a dear friend's blog and maybe you do to, Ali Edwards, last year she blogged about a choosing a word for the year to live by, as a reminder...My word last year was BREATHE...After reading her blog the other day and thinking about the coming year, then being so drawn by the cuff I bought, this year I am going to have it be my theme for the year...And my word is going to be DO... I love it! It is an action word...When I was a child the President of my church Spencer W. Kimball had a quote he would always say, "Do it" So this year is going to be my year of Do and LOVING it!
I hope your holidays were merry! We leave Kauai tonight, we will celebrate the new year on a plane over the ocean somewhere! I am ready to get back to "life" work and home...
Happy New Year!
