    We are back in Utah! I got a new Mary Engelbreit calender for Christmas and this quote was one of the months. It is exactly how I feel about our trip and being home! We got home yesterday at about noon and within minutes it started to snow! I loved it! Talk about extremes! It was a fabulous trip! We had a great time "being" together! But it is good to be home!
    Just want to wish everybody a Happy New Year! Be safe tonight! Grant Aslett and I are heading up to Park City to spend New Year's Eve with our dear friends the Tuckers from AZ!

Only 2 days left in Paradise!

    Wow! I am sad to say we leave Kauai in two days! Today was another grand day! We just got back from having saimin at a local joint! We were the only houlies (white folk-non locals). It was great! Tomorrow we will head back to Hanalei and spend the day there.
     This trip has been fabulous! We have beached it daily, gone kayaking, hiked to Kipu Falls, the boys have golfed while the girls and I shopped, we went to Poipu, we have surfed, and boogie boarded. Tomorrow afternoon the kids are going wake boarding on the Wialua River with Megan's Hawaii "boyfriend" Johnathon. We have eaten Bubba's Burgers in Hanalei, world famous Dukes for prime rib, coconut ice cream in old Koloa Towne, even the "crazy" fruit lady in Kapaa for fresh pineapple and bananas! If it is here in Kauai we have done it! This trip has been the best! I am always sad to leave Kauai every time we are here, but am always ready to get back to the "mainland" and to home!
    Only two days left...I am going to make the most of them!

Aloha From Kauai

     We have been in Hawaii for 9 days and it is fabulous! We are having the best time! The weather has been incredible! Kauai is normally a bit wet...Not a drop of rain! The sun has been out every day! We get up late, hit the beach, soak in the sun, play games or watch movies at night and do it all over the next day! We rented surf boards for the kids the in Hanalei it was fun to see them all get up and surf! Today we went to see Santa! Did some Christmas shopping too. We are really hangin' loose!
    Hope your Holidays are going well! Only 3 days till Christmas!
