The kids have been out of school for the long UEA weekend. Thursday, Friday and today. We have had a relaxing weekend. We got some more work done on the house, Grant worked on the sprinkler system. Next weekend he hopefully will have it all finished and have sod in! Cross your fingers! An acre is WAY too much yard! What were we thinking!
We went to church today! Meg even went! She and I bugged out after Sacrament meeting,I went to check on my roast and throw the potatoes in. LOVE Sunday dinner!
Last week we took the kids up the canyon to take some photos in the leaves. I am thinking for our Christmas Card. I picked them up yesterday and they turned out great! I am excited, not about having to hand make the dam Christmas card, but the photo! LOL Every year since Grant Aslett and I have been married we have done a photo Christmas card this will be #20 hello. I have been handmaking them for over 6 years now. Card Crazy may ring some bells...GRRRRRRRRR! Now each year I have to come up with a new design, better than the year before...Right? LOL I will make myself crazy! Anyway, the photos are awesome.
The fall leaves this year have been incredible. Fall is one of the best things about Utah. I love Fall. Warm days and cool nights, the boys playing football at night! I just wished it would be Fall all year! Tomorrow I am going to make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. A Fall tradition. I LOVE the smell wafting throughout my house. It makes me feel all Domestic! I burn spice candles, make chilli, and decorate with Orange, Brown, Red, Yellow and Green leaves. This is a great time of the year. I hope you are all enjoying Fall like I am...
